With the roll-out of NBN across Australia, many security systems have been rendered ineffective due to the changes in technology. Many modern alarm and security systems have diallers that are programmed to call a Security Surveillance Centre when the security system detects an intruder. The dialling feature on many of these systems are not compatible with the NBN network.
